Man City predicted line up vs Southampton

Pep Guardiola aims to maintain Manchester City's outstanding start to the season against Southampton on Wednesday night.

The runaway Premier League leaders have been tested over the past week with a narrow win against Feyenoord in the Champions League and a dramatic late victory against Huddersfield on Sunday.

Crucially, however, they proved their steal as their remarkable 18-game winning run continues.

But those games will have taken their toll - so will Guardiola shuffle the pack against the Saints?

Doubt remains over whether Vincent Kompany can start three games in eight days, and there comes a point when Eliaquim Mangala has to be trusted.

A clash with Southampton is NOT that time however, and personally - and without access to Kompany's physio readings - I would ask him to patch up and go out again.

Mangala would be better suited to the visit of West Ham on Sunday.

But the team does need freshening up, and maybe a run for Gabriel Jesus, who made a difference at Huddersfield, would effect that. Other than that, there is no call for changes, especially with the struggling Hammers and a dead rubber at Shakhtar coming up.

James Robson

It feels like the right time to freshen things up with so many games coming in quick succession.

Guardiola has a big enough squad to make changes without dramatically damaging the quality of his team.

Bernardo Silva has waited patiently, while Ilkay Gundogan has had to make do with only a clutch of opportunities.

Kompany needs to show he can play more than two games a week but this is an opportunity for a few players to come in. Gundogan has impressed whenever he has appeared this season and can give De Bruyne a rest, who seemed to feature unnecessarily against Feyenoord.

Gabriel Jesus can come in too, although it may be best to hold Bernardo for starts against West Ham and Shakhtar.

XI: Ederson, Walker, Kompany, Otamendi, Delph, Fernandinho, Gundogan, Silva, Sterling, Sane, Jesus

The Ultimate Slot Machine Guide (CHAPTER 1)

WHY WE WROTE THIS GUIDE
Slot machines command an ever-increasing place in the world’s casino floors, including the United States, where they are by far the most popular casino games, and Australia, where there are more slots per capita than in the U.S. Yet few players understand how the games really work, what their chances of winning are, or how different games cater to different player personalities. This guide was written to fill that knowledge gap.

STRUCTURE OF THIS GUIDE
This guide consists of 14 chapters and a number of subchapters.  Each chapter begins with bullet points that explain what the reader will find.  Each chapter ends with Key Takeaways and a Test Yourself quiz. The guide begins with basics of why people play and the history of slots, then introduces topics that explain the multitude of different options on today’s slots and what they mean to you as a player.

SLOT MACHINE BASICS
1.1 The Rise of Slot Machines
You will learn why slot machines have earned their rising popularity and why players love to play them. It may come as a surprise that slot machines didn’t always pay off in cash, that early machines paid in chewing gum or other merchandise. Slot terms such as “stepper slots” and “wild symbols” are defined in this section.

1.2 Slot Machine Invention and History
Charles Fey invented the three-reel slot in 1895, but there were earlier coin-operated gaming devices. This subchapter includes early history and traces changes to the age of computerized slots and the influence of worldwide manufacturers.

1.3 Important Advances In Slot Machine Technology
Without inventions such as the virtual reel, ticket printer, bill validator and bonus wheel, today’s slots wouldn’t be possible. Here, you’ll find some of the key advances in slot technology and why they’re important.
